Here is a small Javascript that I wrote to hide the advertisements in Ask.com search results. Ask.com shows textual advertisements and lately a “Nascar toolbar’ advertisement. This Greasemonkey (firefox addon) script will hide these. You can visit this page on userscripts.org to view and install the script or use this Javascript code:
